Game Description

Project Zomboid is a cross-platform game in which we will have to find a house, equip it, and start surviving in a world where a zombie apocalypse has recently occurred. We are located in Knox County. The latest epidemic infected more than 90% of the district’s residents, and they all became zombies. Difficult conditions will force us to survive, stock up on food, water, weapons and all available supplies in order to simply survive.

We play as one of the survivors who is in the open area of the city. There are thousands of zombies around us who want to eat us. First of all, we need to find a house, check the integrity of its structure, get more or less settled, and then go in search of survivors and supplies in the city. The game does not have a specific ending. The only time the game will end is your own death. If you can survive until the moment the military arrives in the area, then this means that you have practically won, because the military will “drag” a whole army of zombies with them.

At the beginning, you create a character whose gender, race, name, appearance, hairstyle, clothes, beard, etc. can be chosen. Next, you choose a story and place of work. Any factor will entail changes in gameplay. For example, if your character worked before the zombie apocalypse, then his previous job will help him in handling objects. A policeman can shoot better, a carpenter can build defensive structures faster and better, orderlies will be able to heal wounds for themselves and their allies faster, and a cook will be able to prepare a tasty, satisfying dish from a few ingredients.

Despite the fact that the people around you are mired in the fight against zombies, you will be able to kill, rob, and terrorize. But do not forget that you must choose one of the negative qualities. For example, it could be laziness, obesity, myopia, thirst, etc. The better you fight the disease, the more points you get, which can be spent on upgrading positive skills - agility, luck, disease resistance and others. Also, since we are in reality and not in a game, our character will want to eat, drink, go to the toilet, sleep, communicate and relax. Remember this when you are going on your next outing.
