Puzzle Quest: Immortal Edition features a combat system that resolves conflicts on a match-three grid. Gamers collect combinations of 3 or more gems of the same color, accumulating mana for their hero. This resource powers the character’s arsenal of spells and abilities, used to defeat various opponents. Successful encounters bring rewards, new items, and open the way to completing main and side quests in the lands of Etheria.

Character creation is a key element in allowing you to develop a hero with a unique set of skills and magical powers. During the adventures in Puzzle Quest: Immortal Edition, the player will meet companions who are ready to provide support in battle. A wide range of spells can be learned and a variety of equipment can be collected, providing tactical flexibility. Enemies have different strengths, which forces the protagonist to adjust his abilities and equipment before each battle to achieve victory.
