Game Description

Radio General allows you to team up with a friend to play online, working through the campaign together. You can compete with other players for free using an online Internet connection. Events take place during the Second World War. You will take on the role of a general who led the operation from a tent. There are only a map and a radio on the table. It is necessary to coordinate your army from headquarters, making decisions on the fly, blindly giving orders to the team. The possibility of free online play includes both cooperation between participants and direct confrontation.

The gameplay is a mixture of tactical strategy and board game. Radio General allows you to control your personal army exclusively through voice commands. Sometimes reports from soldiers can be inaccurate because they don’t always see the full picture. You must rely solely on available materials. Intuition and logic are at the forefront of Radio General’s gameplay. Not only online play is available, but also a solo mode, which allows you to go through a series of different tasks and tests.

Mechanics include behind-the-scenes negotiations, soldiers' limited amount of ammunition, employee morale, camouflage, field of view and soldier stamina, etc. All elements must be considered and taken into account when drawing up a strategy. The terrain also plays a huge role. When setting up ambushes, it is necessary to select a small group of fighters, send a little more troops into open confrontation, etc.

If they manage to capture the tower, the fighters will be able to cover more space and see enemies from afar. Each company has its own characteristics and specializations. It is necessary to appoint officers, upgrade the skills of soldiers, etc. Events cover real-life confrontations, including the Battle of Dieppe, where it is necessary to crush Hitler’s Gotha Line troops in Italy, make a landing in Normandy and block the Falaise Corridor.
