Railgunners puts players in the script of a rail shooter, where humanity is fighting an alien invasion. This title represents battles through customizable complexity parameters, allowing gamers to regulate the intensity of contractions. Gamers move in a two -dimensional perspective with lateral scrolling, faced with hundreds of enemy units in numerous conflict zones. The main task includes a breakthrough through the vast lines of the enemy in order to get to the mother vessel of the aliens and begin its destruction.

In Railgunners, gamers choose from 3 different characters. Each character is piloting a special experimental apparatus equipped with specialized weapons and operational abilities. The passage of the stages checks the tactical application and immediate reactions of the player, moving to the main reactor of the mother vessel. This journey requires gamers to demonstrate owning their apparatus, adapting to developing threats.

Gameplay sessions begin with the launch of the user’s apparatus from the massive railgan into the opponent. During the fight, the operating energy of the machine is gradually depleted, completing the round either destruction or a complete loss of energy, which should be returned to the gamer to the base. Maintaining an aggressive offensive position and chain defeat of the enemy replenish this energy, providing access to improved functions of a combat unit. The completion of levels provides specialized weapons and modules, allowing gamers to improve the performance of a combat vehicle or adjust the parameters of the battle, extending the work time to achieve the goals of the mission.
