Passing in Retrowave 2 begins with a single starting car. Gamers accumulate currency upon completion of each race to purchase other machines or apply upgrades to the current car. Driving along the tracks requires attentiveness, since other vehicles create obstacles on the lane bands. The journey passes through more than 8 unique universes, each with its own environment. Such a gameplay allows drivers to methodically expand their garage and improve the characteristics of their equipment.
The game offers a choice of 15 cars and 4 different modes. The central feature is the system of purchase of improvements for the machine, along with the possibilities of acquiring new colors and disks. Drivers can additionally change the appearance of their car, using dozens of available skins. The endless road network now includes turns, making diversity into the navigation task.
