Samurai Shodown is a two-dimensional fighting game with the ability to play online with a friend, fighting for free on a pirate ship, or take part in competitions with other players online online. The heroes are controlled using 4 buttons: two blows with a hand and two with a foot. To perform an enhanced attack, you need to hold down two buttons at the same time. Weapons are knocked out of the hands of rivals. To get a temporary boost to strength, you need to fill a special POW energy scale. A messenger may appear in the arena, bringing bombs and various boosts. This is one of the most brutal fighting games, as there is blood, dismemberment and bloody finishing moves. Main characters of Samurai Shodown: Haomaru - a ronin wandering around the world - the main protagonist; Nakoruru - a girl who protects nature; Yukio Tachibana - a swordsman looking for a flower for his beloved; Wang-Fu - a general of the Qing army, gathering a personal detachment; Charlotte is an aristocrat from France; Galford is an American surfer who knows ninjutsu.
