Stacking chips with the same effect gives you additional benefits, but they are limited in number, so choose wisely.

The main thing is sanity. Keep your helmet on - the darkness drains your sanity faster than a wandering poltergeist. Holding seriously haunted items isn’t exactly a pleasant experience either, so keep an eye on the number of creepy trinkets you acquire. Teamwork makes the dream come true - you can team up with three other investigators. Gather your ghost busting team and get ready to debunk (and maybe confirm) creepy school rumors. And one last piece of advice from an experienced investigator: Don’t lose your head. Don’t be a hero - get back to the lab while you still have battery power and sanity.
