Screencheat is a multiplayer shooter with a first-person view. You can play it online with a friend on pirate. This can also be done online via the Internet. In total, the project contains 11 maps with many landmarks.

Screencheat only offers online play. Compared to other titles, the indie project stands out with its unusual concept. In it, the screen is always divided into several parts. The number of windows depends on the number of participants. Matches are designed for 4-8 people. All users are invisible. The point of the gameplay is to peek into other people’s windows and determine where everyone is. Based on the information received, you need to find your opponent and try to hit him. There is no health bar, since any successful explosion, blow or shot is fatal. And the ammunition here is endless.

The arsenal includes 10 atypical types of weapons. Among them are a candelabra, a blunderbuss, a piñata, a teddy bear with a bomb inside, and even a car engine that shoots ricocheting plasma balls. Each weapon not only has its own pros and cons, but also leaves a characteristic mark that reveals the fighter’s position. There are 9 modes available - from regular or team “Deathmatch” to “Mysterious Murder”, where you need to eliminate a specific target in a certain way. There is “King of the Hill” and other fun. The possibility of free online play extends to the Internet and local multiplayer. Both options can be combined. You can customize matches by changing victory conditions, enabling or disabling modifiers, and adjusting the availability of certain guns.
