Game Description

ScreenWolf is a creative platform that lets you bring your computer desktop to life with unique virtual companions. The basis of the project is a special toolkit ScreenWolf Pet Packager, which allows users to independently create and share pets. Thanks to the open structure, anyone can design their own creatures, giving them unique animations, sound effects and style of interaction with the environment, turning the desktop into a personal interactive space.

Created or uploaded pets begin an independent life right on top of all windows. You can observe their behavior and also directly contact them. Characters respond to touches and strokes, follow the mouse cursor, and respond to dragging. Such actions not only cause cute animated responses, but also bring experience points, contributing to the development of the little companion. In addition to entertainment functions, these creatures in ScreenWolf are also endowed with practical skills, for example, they can help take a screenshot or read text copied to the clipboard.

Technically, this simulation is implemented based on Java Swing, which ensures smooth operation and low load on the system. The program creates a transparent layer above the desktop, which becomes a habitat for virtual pets. Each pet functions independently, having its own set of behavioral algorithms and characteristics, which allows you to turn routine computer work into an exciting neighborhood with animated assistants.
