Game Description

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is an incredibly challenging action game that makes feudal Japan look dark, burning, and beautiful at the same time. The third-person stealth action game combines the features of RPGs and the themes of Souls games. Well-designed graphics of feudal Japan allow us to plunge into the difficult process of returning our master of the Ashina clan. The leader of the opposition - Genichiro - kidnapped a samurai from Shinobi, and now we must cope with a huge number of his followers in order to save the teacher, master, master and good friend who paid us well in a past life.

We have at our disposal a character named Wolf. He has been a warrior with a bone arm all his life, and his secondary weapons are a sword and a rope with a hook. The whole game is built on the idea of attack, not defense, so every time we encounter enemies, we will have to sophisticatedly kill them with our sword, pull them with a rope with a hook, use unique abilities, and all this in a perfectly drawn world!

The plot of Sekiro is revealed to us in more detail after several cut scenes. The Sengoku period is over. One of the military leaders - Isshin Ashina - seizes the land of Ashina (another character) and makes a revolution in the history of Japan. During this period, our character is adopted by one of the representatives of the wandering shinobi - Owl, who gives us the name - Wolf. Next we see that the Ashina clan is weakening. Opponents from all sides are ready to take his place. Isshin loses his powers. Isshin’s grandson finds strength in himself and captures the only Divine Heir - Kuro. His blood contains the “Dragon Legacy”.

Trained in all aspects of combat, the Wolf is Kuro’s bodyguard, but he cannot cope with the huge army and its commander, Genichiro. This is where our journey begins, which will end either with the formation of the Deity in the person of Isshin, or with the return of Japan to its usual modernized system. We will be able to upgrade our character’s skills after each battle. Each fight allows us to upgrade our character, make his equipment more powerful, and also fully master the skill tree. Fights take place strictly with a katana. Opponents have no health, but can be weakened by reducing concentration, which decreases after we reflect blows. Without concentration, we kill the enemy with one blow.

Our concentration dries up after missing or landing blows. When the “concentration” scale is depleted, we can die from one blow from the most powerful opponent. Also in the game there are shurikens, a grappling hook and all the techniques of a real ninja. An additional feature is that we can kill enemies by quietly sneaking up on them from behind. There is always an “alertness” gauge above the enemy’s head, which, when filled, reveals your location.
