Game Description

Sid Meier’s Civilization V is a strategy game with an RTS style, where we still build a civilization from primitive times to the present. You can choose from 18 strong powers of this world, within which you can add 7 wonders of the world, put in control a leader who has individual characteristics, and also does everything in his own way. The legendary turn-based strategy series introduces us to the sequel, in which a huge number of additional areas have been added.

The developers of Civilization 5 warn that city-powers have appeared in the game, within which exactly the same development is taking place, only in a minimalistic form. Such a city can also become the master of the world, but it is more difficult for it to make contact with strong powers, since it is not economically interesting. The Technology Tree inside the game was severely damaged. Now, most moves involve the fastest development of technology, but this does not speed up the game compared to other factors. Resources are still divided into rare, bonus and strategic. The more we plan and create, the longer our empire takes to build.

An increase in the city’s territory can be achieved due to two factors: the elimination of opponents in nearby areas, or due to cultural development, within which people become happier. Captured cities can now be liberated, abandoned, turned into a colony, or made a satellite. The latter allows you to receive income and resources, but people’s happiness will be reduced due to the aggressive spirit. There are also changes to the battle area in Sid Meier’s Civilization V. A killed unit does not disappear from the army, but is simply transferred to the nearest military base. If you set up a camp, then he is transported there, but his condition becomes noticeably worse. The variety of military units increases with the level of civilization.
