Slap The Fly is a competitive game that gives you the opportunity to compete online over the Internet, controlling a fly, spider, bee or person. You can play Pirate for free online with a friend or random participants. Network play allows up to six people to team up. The mission is to survive or kill the insect. A single-player mode is presented and there is the possibility of a free online game aimed at confronting creatures of different species.

You can play as people or insects. Each character has their own unique abilities. While controlling people, you need to catch an insect. When controlling one of the pest species, you need to survive. Matches last until three wins. There are 3 skins for humans, and 4 for midges: fly, bee, spider and rat.

People have weapons that can be used to swat insects: a mousetrap, a fly swatter with a lamp, X-ray glasses and a flamethrower. Pests have their own individual characteristics: a fly and a bee can fly, a spider can weave a web, and a rat can bite.
