Game Description
Sniper Ghost Warrior is a tactical shooter that you can play online with a friend for free. Players compete with each other over a local network or online on the Internet, fighting on pirate ships in versus modes. Each participant takes on the role of an experienced sniper, using 4 types of rifles: AS50, MSG90, SR-25 and SVD. Auxiliary weapons include various throwing and explosive objects. Heroes can fight in close combat. Multiplayer relies on the same mechanics as the single-player campaign.
A feature of the gameplay is realism, based on many physical laws. When shooting, the speed of the bullet, wind, gravity and many other parameters are taken into account. Sniper: Ghost Warrior is a hardcore action game that invites you to fight with random players using the free online game option, or go through a story campaign consisting of 16 missions.
The missions in Sniper Ghost Warrior are non-linear. Each scenario can be completed in several ways: go into open confrontation or carry out the operation silently without raising the alarm. Different goals are set: destroy a certain number of enemies, eliminate a special target, help other fighters, etc. The difficulty increases with each subsequent mission. Positioning and thinking through tactics are very important.
Events take place in the fictional country of Isla Trueno, suffering from dictatorship. The island contains huge reserves of uranium, so terrorists do not give access to resources to countries fighting for democracy. The characters are such heroes as Wells Tyler (Razor 6-4), O’Neil (Alpha 9), Private Andersen (Delta 3), Commander Conway and others.
