Game Description

Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 is a continuation of the game of the same name, which provides the opportunity to play online with a friend for free as a pirate. You can compete locally or online online. The plot once again tells about Dr. Eggman building a base on the Little Planet, where he joins forces with Metal Sonic. The online game offers you to take control of a blue hedgehog or Tails in order to, together with your partner, confront the villain.

The gameplay completely replicates the original arcade parts of the famous series. A campaign mode is available and the possibility of free online play is provided. Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 includes an additional campaign called Metal Episode, where you can play as an alternate Sonic. The story part consists of three acts, which are represented by 5 levels: Sylvania Castle, Sky Fortress, Oil Desert, White Park and Death Egg. After each of them you have to fight a boss.

The heroes confront the badnik robots. Throughout the levels you need to collect golden rings to gain extra lives or unlock secret stages. Each of the protagonists has their own unique abilities. The hedgehog performs a spin dash, accelerating beforehand, or attacks enemies with a homing attack. Tails can fly and swim underwater. An additional Time Attack mode has been introduced. If you finish the level by collecting 50 rings, you can go through the secret level. If you successfully complete the task, the hero receives a Chaos Emerald. There are 7 of them in total. By putting them together, you can turn into Super Sonic.
