Star Rift Saga places a player on a distant foreign world, where spatial faults break the fabric of reality. These cosmic gaps threaten to release in the galaxy the devouring planets of essence, which becomes the main task. The mission consists in moving in many biomes to confront these creatures and the subsequent closure of spatial anomalies. The battles require accurate platforming, the use of invulnerable jerks and the ability to fly in order to defeat various opponents and their leaders.

A study in Star Rift Saga is built around a huge, interconnected map with many secret paths and alternative routes. As the hero finds new skills, previously inaccessible areas of the world open, which encourages repeated visits. This game allows you to find over 150 unique skills chips that provide new actions, improve characteristics or modifications for weapons. These elements are inserted into a grid of skills similar to a puzzle, allowing you to construct specific assemblies for a protagonist and form a personal gameplay style.

Progression applies not only to the protagonist, but also to the central avantost. Gamer saves stuck colonists, contributing to the restoration and expansion of this shelter. Each saved character opens something new: an expanded assortment in a shop or other useful bonuses. The prey collected with enemies can be sold to finance the improvements of the arsenal and the base itself, directly connecting personal power with the development of this stronghold and the entire gaming process.
