Starvaders a combination of a mechanic of collecting a deck and step -by -step battles on the field in the setting of an alien invasion. The gamer takes control of the combat vehicle to fight the aliens with the help of compiled cards. The process moves through roguelike style visits, which requires adaptation. The task is to defend the Earth through the thoughtful use of maps and the placement of detachments on the field. The essence of the gameplay is to form a deck of skills and perform series of moves against enemy forces.

Each type of combat vehicles, available in Starvaders, is controlled by their pilots team, adding unique cards and management features to the game. The selection of the pilot affects the strategy through its personal skills. For example, the shooter car allows you to conduct constant shelling and arrange explosions on the area using your kit. Another option, a sting, specializes in close combat, and the Guardian uses spells and causes creatures with the help of his deck.

Gamers find combinations of cards and try to cope with growing threats from the invaders for many visits. Thanks to hundreds of cards, artifacts and improvements, each passage opens different strategic capabilities and development options. The mechanics of the chrono mixture allows you to cancel the moves, giving a chance to correct past actions if the result has not been arranged. After each start, new cards, pilots, as well as stronger opponents and bosses open, which changes the conditions for future sessions.
