Stirring Abyss

Stirring Abyss is a turn-based strategy with role-playing game elements. Uncover the ancient secrets of the undersea depths in a twisted and mystical story inspired by the works of famous writer Howard Phillips Lovecraft. The main character is the captain of the surviving underwater crew of the submarine Salem. The shipwreck occurred during the Cold War. The soldiers survived, but found themselves at the ruins of an extinct civilization. Now they have to find a way to rise back to the surface.

The story mode of Stirring Abyss tells the story of a survivor trying to save the crew members and repair the submarine. The game’s plot is non-linear. The decisions you make determine the future fate of your subordinates and influence global history. Develop character skills that will help you progress. Abilities determine the style of combat and reveal new facets of the gameplay. As you progress through the game, the rescued soldiers are upgraded with the help of mutations that give them enormous strength, but turn them into creepy Lovecraftian monsters. No one will leave the Abyss the same!

Horrors, gloom and emptiness await you. The members of your squad will experience bouts of despair, exhaustion and madness. The psyche of many can be significantly destroyed. Their fate depends only on you! The more you explore the depths of the sea, the greater your chances of finding treasures and equipment that will greatly help in the fight against hostile entities. A flashlight is the only source of light at great depths. Explore the territory carefully, because danger lurks around every turn! In addition to the storyline, Endless mode is available, where your group will have to fight off the advancing waves of enemies.
