A new measures come to a prosperous futuristic city, which introduces a dry law. This caused the rebellion and chaos in Streets of Rogue. The inhabitants of the town created the headquarters of resistance, which is hidden underground. They plan to overthrow a cruel dictator, so we need a hero who will fulfill this task.

Having chosen the class of the protagonist, the user will begin his path from the lower floor. First, the gamer will open six characters of two dozen possible ones that will be available in the process. Heroes can choose a hairstyle, eyes and skin color, but they all have their own biography and skills and tasks. For example, the hacker should prevent cyber attacks, the policeman will be able to succeed in his work. Actions take place in the city city, so there are many levels to pass to get to the enemy living on the top floor. In the user process, a lot of classes awaits. The character will rummage in garbage, hunt cops, make robberies and break terminals.

There are five procedures-related locations in the crog: a suburb, slums, a park, a plant, and a business center, each of which is located on a certain floor. To switch to the next location, one mission must be performed. The open world of Rogue Street allows you to perform any actions at the request of the player, for example, use a secretive passage or kill everyone in a row. Here you can roam, rob, kill, steal drugs, save comrades. On each levets, you need to interact with many characters, and the problems are solved by any method, for example, you can hire an assistant, break the window and get into the room from the other side.

For the variety of gameplay in the game, there are mutators that can be activated and adjusted to the desired obstacles or advantages. Here you can get endless ammunition, connect a zombie apocalypse or increase prices. The game allows a joint passage in a local or network cooperative with four friends.
