Stronghold Legends is a real-time strategy game that you can play online for free as a pirate with a friend. Battles take place locally or online online. The online game allows you to take control of three factions: King Arthur - the forces of good, Dietrich of Berne - the cold and Vlad Dracula - the forces of darkness. There have been huge changes compared to the second part. For example, many units were removed, new equipment and additional types of troops were added.

The changes affected the economic component. Resource management and city building mechanics in Stronghold Legends have been simplified. A huge emphasis is placed on confrontation. The possibility of free online play allows you to take control of one of the factions and storm the opponent’s castle. In total, there are 3 unique game modes: single-player campaign Path of Legend, custom maps and battles against the gods. All modes are presented with unique tasks and mechanics.

Almost all missions begin with the need to build a castle. To do this, you need to collect resources, hire recruits, train troops, etc. Defensive means, such as defensive towers, towers or various equipment, play a huge role in confrontations. Victory is counted when the castle is captured or the king is killed. Magic spells have appeared that significantly influence the tactics and dynamics of battles. The main characters have acquired new abilities and buffs.
