Game Description

Styx Shards of Darkness is a stealth action game that allows you to complete the campaign while playing for free in co-op with a friend on a pirate ship. To join forces, you need to connect online to take on the role of nimble goblins facing off against an entire army of armed men. The story centers on a charismatic goblin named Styx. He doesn’t have enormous strength, so he has to hide in the shadows, use the environment to his advantage, and attack his enemies with a dagger when they least expect it.

The protagonist, like his partner, has various magical abilities. With their help, you can distract the guards or buy yourself time to slip into the desired room or premises. Network play is aimed at interaction between characters. One can distract, and the second can attack from behind. While the first one is looking for the necessary quest item, the second one is busy clearing the way - the possibility of free online play allows everyone to decide individually what to do in a given situation.

Together we will go through an elven city, dungeons of gnomes, various unexplored lands and human lands. Styx Shards of Darkness allows you to experiment with equipment by changing equipment in the hub location, which is a flying ship. For each task you can take a variety of items that influence the tactics of the game. Each location contains several branches, increasing the replay value of the campaign.

The levels are open sandbox maps, where you are allowed to take the path that the player sees fit. You can even enter into open confrontation, but in a battle even with two opponents, Styx will clearly lose. By gaining experience points, three main abilities are upgraded: murder, magic and penetration. Using the items found, you can create traps and potions.
