Subnautica is an underwater adventure designed for single player and co-op play. You can play the pirate Subnautica online for free with a friend. Players can connect online via the Internet to go through the storyline together. The gameplay is a survival game in the Pacific Ocean. Having plunged into the water, you will encounter numerous creatures living on the ocean floor. The gameplay is built around mechanics such as maintaining the hero’s health level, controlling thirst, hunger and oxygen.

To travel through the underwater world, you need scuba gear or a bathyscaphe. Free online play allows teammates to interact by trading items or sharing oxygen tanks. To progress through the story, participants will need to create special tools and vehicles. Subnautica has an extensive crafting system. To create an item you need to use a special device called the Manufacturer. The found drawings indicate the missing components for crafting.

Using the Scanner, you need to explore the environment, finding the wreckage of the Aurora. Multiplayer allows teammates to visit abandoned bases together. You can scan underwater inhabitants, various artifacts and much more. There are 3 types of transport available, allowing you to descend to great depths. The Builder tool allows you to build your own base. The shelter consists of several rooms: a multi-purpose room, a transparent observatory, a dry dock for small vehicles, a scanning room and several auxiliary corridors. The inhabitants of the depths are capable of attacking heroes. The Cyclops submarine acts as a mobile shelter. During the passage you will explore three abandoned bases.
