Previously, research laboratories and a nuclear power plant operated on its territory. In 1981, a disaster occurred there due to floods. After this, all residents were evacuated, and the settlement was abandoned. The video game itself takes place many years later, in 2025. By this time, military men, bandits, and diggers had settled on the territory of the settlement. The player is given control of a mercenary. The hero can team up with other adventurers or remain alone. He has to explore locations, fight with representatives of various factions, sell the loot he finds to various merchants and buy equipment from them. He has an inventory where you can manage items.

In the official Russian translation, the game is called Zarya: The Sniper’s Path. This is a first-person shooter in an open world. The seamless map includes not only Seversk, but also suburban areas. They contain industrial facilities, swamps, forests, and so on. The indie project has role-playing elements in the form of a leveling system. The protagonist has 20 characteristics - from the speed of reloading while running and the time spent on aiming to the shaking of hands and breathing when aiming at a target. To improve these parameters, you need to earn special points. They are given as a reward for finding green glowing objects.
