Game Description

The Forest is a first-person horror game in which you can play for free online with a friend as a pirate. The action takes place in a mystical forest. The territory is represented by an open world. You are allowed to freely explore the mysterious forest, trying to avoid attacks from the cannibal natives. The online game starts after the heroes get into a plane crash. Finding yourself in the vastness of an unknown island, you will have to survive in extreme conditions, trying to get food and shelter.

The Forest’s gameplay is inspired by classic horror franchises such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill, while bringing in the atmosphere of films such as Cannibal Hell and The Descent. The free online play feature includes crafting mechanics that allow you to create various tools and weapons necessary for survival. Cannibals are intelligent enemies, not like zombies. This is a huge tribe with its own principles, culture, etc. The enemies are also trying to survive, just like the main protagonist. The further players can go into the forest or down into the caves, the more enemies await them along the way.

Events start from a random place. The plane crashes in a random place every time. The protagonist has a global goal - to find his son named Timmy. The natives stole it and want to eat the newly arrived meat. Finding himself in the vastness of the forest, the hero will encounter not only the aborigines, but also natural factors. In the game, anything can kill you, from wild animals to diseases caused by bad weather. You can build a home, create a fortification, craft traps, make things and much more. The protagonist is able to climb rocks and dive under water.
