Gradually, an ordinary working environment turns into a stage for a series of strange and inexplicable incidents that violate the usual routine.

These alarming events intensify, turning the usual one -looking work into a terrible test for a protagonist who masters new duties. The gameplay in The Rotting Man takes place in the first person, with an emphasis on the study of the nearest environment in the format of the walking simulator. Promotion in the plot includes navigation by cafes and conversations with a variety of characters who often visit this institution. Some interactions and discoveries encounter the main character with cruel incidents and naturalistic, bloody scenes that emphasize the elements of the psychological horror.

The decisions made during these clashes and the collected information become an integral part of the further development of events for the clerk.
