Game Description
The Shaman’s Ark represents a world standing over an essence named the abyss. Once upon a time, people found a refuge on a structure called an ark, but the emptiness below now seeps back into their land. The shaman returns from darkness, armed only with a drum. The ancient melodies of the instrument function as a weapon, turning every battle with the ideas of the abyss into a rhythmic ritual committed on the verge of mortality.
In The Shaman’s Ark, advancement is tied to the study of the interconnected world. New abilities provide access to previously inaccessible territories, being a component of the design of this metroid. Power accumulates through the search and wearing of bones for the shamanistic necklaces, and each fragment is endowed with special properties. The player is also looking for a place of power to restore and strengthen his capabilities, meeting other characters with various motives and stories.
The journey requires to encounter many forms accepted abyss, from small manifestations to giant bosses commanders of their possessions. The disclosure of the history of the great shaman and the origin of the ark is the central part of the gameplay. The narrative offers different ways, and the decisions made affect the outcome of the conflict between the ark and emptiness. The single storyline of this game branches, leading to several endings.
