This War of Mine is a cross-platform platformer game with elements of survival for an entire group of people. At the beginning of the game, you are given several characters to control the group, and you develop them depending on the time of day. During the day, the characters live in a house located in a city besieged by rebels. They arrange their everyday life, help each other, perform joint tasks and craft the necessary items. The game perfectly shows the life of people burdened by war. Night is a time of murders, dangerous forays and deaths. The developers warn that the game shows real war, and that “romantic notions of heroism” are nonsense and propaganda.

A civil war took place inside this game, leaving behind a trail of events that turned time towards chaos and darkness. The game has an extensive item crafting system. Your squad and other civilians will always lack food, water and other household items, and your hero - the leader of the squad or a lone fighter - will make forays at night in order to “farm” the maximum amount of various goods.

Over time, new characters join our house, who calmly live in our house in the place of the previous residents - because each character is subject to death. People here are tired, hungry, thirsty. They can get sick at low temperatures, and at high temperatures they begin to take off their outer clothing. If a person in a shelter becomes sad, he can calmly leave home, taking some of the supplies, or he can even commit suicide.
