Game Description

In Total War: ROME 2 - Emperor Edition we are allowed to play as one of Caesar’s three followers. This is Octavian, the adopted son of a former ruler who is obliged to become the ruler of Rome; Mark Antony is Caesar’s loyal friend and best military leader; and Lepidus, the man through whom Caesar achieved universal recognition. After Caesar was killed, chaos erupted within the Roman Empire. The foreign policy of the empire maintained proper balance, while civil war was taking place inside, and the territory was divided into three parts.

Total War: ROME II invites us to share their reins of power and play for everyone separately, try to recapture the Roman Empire from the inside, creating the most powerful coalition with the support of barbarians and other states. Or vice versa, use the civil war to choose one of the nationalities and go to conquer Rome. We can choose among factions such as: Mark Antony (representative and military leader of his own faction); Lepidus; Octavian. When playing as these warlords, the units hired will be Romans, the technology and structures of the city will not go beyond the structure of the Roman Empire, but it all depends on your intentions. The player can also choose one of any faction: Egypt; Armenia; Representatives of Pompeii; Iceni; Marcomanni; Parthia; Dacia.

In the game, you can acquire allies and deliver the final blow to a great power to take its helm, but be prepared that your greatness and power may become the envy of the enemy’s artificial intelligence. He will be able to betray you, retreat sharply during a siege and capture your settlement. Developing your own city implies a political, military and economic representation of the Roman Empire and that time, so it will be impossible to create a new state alone. In addition to the common goal of all players, namely Rome, you will be at odds with other factions. Hire an army, play in co-op mode, capturing Rome, or confronting each other. Create an empire in which you can stop intrigues, secret meetings of politicians, brawls and devastation within the ideological thought of the townspeople!
