The mechanics of Total Thief Warhammer 2 are represented by politics, diplomacy, research, military affairs, etc. You can capture territories, build buildings, develop cities, hire units, train entire armies, and much more. Allowed to form alliances or declare wars - the possibilities of Total War WARHAMMER 2 are endless. An army of thousands, consisting of dragons, monsters and undead, can take part on the battlefield. Heroes have spells and various abilities for close confrontation.

The single player campaign is called The Great Vortex. The action takes place on continents such as Lustria, Ulthuan, Naggaroth and the Southern Lands. There are 8 lords to choose from. Individual starting abilities and features are provided for them, making the passage for each truly unique. The mechanics and style of play change due to heroes, monsters, schools of magic and many other parameters that the player chooses during the adventure.
