The desert landscape means that resources are limited, so use them wisely. Coins unlock blueprints, and they are rare, so spend them strategically. Resources and the right blueprints will allow you to build buildings and equipment to move forward. To mine coal, build a well, or give preference to defensive structures - in each game you are faced with different tasks.

Attacks happen frequently, so be prepared for a fight. Luckily, you have the tools at your disposal. As passengers arrive, use them creatively to protect your convoy. Fill the train with coal, build new cars and equip yourself with protection from everything the desert throws at you. Automate tasks to keep things running smoothly as travel gets more intense.
