Their initial task is to earn recognition by completing various tasks. A seemingly simple task in the Kingdom of Liberl gradually reveals a difficult political situation. The pair soon discover that their personal ambitions are intertwined with the stability of the state, forcing the heroes to face challenges beyond their training.
Gameplay in Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter offers two different combat systems to fight your opponents. One option is traditional turn-based tactics, with an emphasis on the strategic placement of characters and the use of abilities on the battlefield. An alternative is real-time battles, which offer a more dynamic approach. All interactions in the world depend on the player’s progress: the lines of minor characters and townspeople change depending on completed tasks and story events.
