Game Description

Unlighted is a journey into a dystopian world teetering on the edge between oblivion and memory, where a great secret hidden from humanity awaits to be revealed. At the heart of this world is the phenomenon of Umbralite - rare stones with previously unseen properties. These mysterious materials are invisible to the naked eye and only take on physical form when bathed in a stream of light. It was the study of the origin of these anomalies that became the main task of the Umbral Alchemy Corporation.

To achieve their goals, scientists from Umbral Alchemy create entire complexes of testing rooms filled with complex puzzles. As a test subject, you will undergo these tests using a special scanner to detect invisible objects. By manipulating light, it is necessary to materialize Umbralite in order to create platforms and find solutions to move forward. Each successfully completed stage brings you closer to the solution, but the chances of survival in this experiment are extremely low.

The Unlighted project offers you not just to solve spatial problems, but to become a key figure in a risky study on which the revelation of the greatest secret depends. The plot is told from the first person, which allows you to dive deeper into the atmosphere of mystery and constant tension. The main tool is not weapons, but ingenuity and the ability to control light, turning it into a means of interacting with the environment. It depends on the hero’s actions whether the true nature of the strange materials will be revealed, or whether he will forever remain just another victim of the corporation’s ambitious and dangerous scientific research.
