Vintage Story is a sandbox with survival elements that takes inspiration from Minecraft. You are in a post-apocalyptic world where the entire civilization is overrun by wild nature. At the same time, all kinds of unrest are constantly happening. The world is definitely living a turbulent life. You, as a hero, have only one goal - to revive civilization and return humanity to its former greatness. You find yourself in the vastness of Vintage Story with your bare hands. While exploring the area, you will have to collect resources, food, water and much more. Using the items found, you can create useful items and weapons. Hostile fauna will try to get to you, so you need to build your own base and acquire all kinds of equipment. By smelting copper, you can forge powerful weapons that will defeat any enemy that stands in your way.
There is no clear storyline here - you build your own story. However, only you have to find out what happened to the world and find out the answers to many questions about the past of our civilization and its death. The game mechanics are based on the idea that through crafting you can build a new and better world. All you need is perseverance and determination. The surrounding world offers geological diversity: dozens of types of unique biomes, many layers of rocks, a large number of different minerals, huge deposits of quartz, silver, gold and all kinds of food preservatives, such as salts, which you can process for your own purposes.
