Events take place 10 years after the end of Chaos Rising. In the Aurelius sector, war broke out between the forces of the Imperium and the Tyranids. Later, other races become involved in the conflict. The game begins with the protagonist arriving on Typhon Primaris. Here he immediately engages in combat with enemies and defeats the leader of the opposing faction. Each race has a unique enemy.

After the enemy commander is defeated, all surrounding lands must be reconquered. You will need to collect resources, build up military power and destroy the enemy army. Depending on the chosen faction, you can see 6 ending options. There is a special type of ending prepared for all factions.
