Network play allows each participant to build a base, hire troops, design space shuttles, etc. The story of WARSHIFT takes place in 2062, when people colonized the planet Enigma. Humanity comes into conflict with the alien race of Atroids. The Gates of Chaos allowed the invaders to invade the galaxy and now people need to stop them from destroying all life in the universe. The possibility of free online play allows you to fight for each of the factions.

Aliens fight using exoskeletons, which give them the ability to exist in any environment. They are opposed by battalions of Delta people equipped with advanced weapons: cyber-hunters, heavy equipment and transformers. They arrive on the planet using the ARKS spaceship. Depending on the choice of mode, the gameplay changes dramatically.

The strategy mode allows you to build buildings, extract resources, hire units, etc. The action mod goes into full-fledged combat mode, in which you need to control an avatar and fight against huge crowds of enemies. Each character has its own unique abilities and characteristics. You can level up and buy new types of weapons, equipment, etc.
