In Ways of Alchemy, the player begins his way in a secluded hut, where, with the help of card mechanics, he creates potent elixirs from many components. The final goal is to build a whole alchemical empire based on a modest shack, using intelligence and tactical thinking. To do this, you have to look for old recipes and recruit adventurers, constantly avoiding the close attention of the Inquisition.
Ways of Alchemy offers a variable potion system that includes more than 100 ingredients belonging to 5 pillars of reality. You can follow the proven instructions from the make -up of the Grimoar for the predictable result or take risk, experimenting for the sake of more powerful effects. Progress implies the expansion of the inherited dwelling before a prosperous settlement, which requires competent management of resources and personnel. An increase in influence inevitably attracts the eyes of local authorities, forcing to face the consequences of their own ambitions.
The study of the world was implemented through the sending of mercenaries to 24 dangerous expeditions in 5 different regions, having previously provided them with the necessary drugs. Successful sorties are rewarded with unique treasures, which have more than 70 in the project, including powerful artifacts and lost folios. The development of the character opens 15 specializations, allowing you to focus on classical alchemy or delve into forbidden practices, such as necromancy and work with the flesh. Each solution in this game brings closer to one of the 13 endings on the way to the completion of the great work.
