Whisper Trip - Chapter 1 can be called the spiritual successor to Katana Zero. It has similar gameplay, and also uses a cyberpunk setting. The protagonist is also armed with a katana. You can run in two directions, jump, pick up and throw things, cut down adversaries with a blade and use it to deflect bullets back at the shooters. Wearing a motorcycle helmet, the hero can also activate switches. In addition, he is capable of making tackles and jumping off walls. Spam attacks are not allowed here. Different attacking actions consume a stamina scale, which is quickly replenished. But there is no health bar here, because the main character dies from any hit. However, many of his opponents also only need a single blow to die. In case of death, the swordsman will quickly be reborn at the last checkpoint (checkpoints are quite common here), but all enemy fighters will also be resurrected.

The possibility of free online play is represented by a cooperative mode for two. Network play makes it easier to complete. After all, fighting opponents together is much easier than alone. Each type of enemy requires an individual approach. The enemies are represented by various bandits and terrorists.
