XCOM 2

Twenty years ago, people signed an act of complete surrender of the earth to the aliens. Another civilization has shown that there is no hope for salvation, and therefore alien invaders have taken over the entire planet. At the beginning ofXCOM 2 we are shown a video from the current ruler of the planet (in fact, this is a staged, drawn character, he is controlled by aliens), who says that today is the day when the aliens captured us, and the earth plunged into peace; Today we celebrate 20 years of freedom. On the same day, he assures that XCOM as a rebel group no longer exists. But the video is interrupted by the creator.

On the outskirts of the city, a fairly large armed group of rebels has gathered that will be able to repel the alien civilization. We play as a group of people, but can become the captain of the “Avenger” - an alien ship made like a mobile home for the XCOM corporation. From the ship we can strike, warm up the people on the planet and give hope that all 5 classes that we hire will be able to take our planet from the aliens again. Each class has a unique cost, number of lives and armor.

During the downtime, the aliens created a new army from Advent prototypes. Now there are more enemies, and we can set up ambushes, kill from cover, and make the most tactical maneuvers possible. Otherwise, the developers tried and gave us a standard, but interesting strategic value - upgrading modules on the ship, its individual sectors, characters, classes with fighters. Engineering and technical innovations help and propel us to victory as we explore the open world of the earth, moving through deserts and sparkling cities that consist only of projections.
