The cooperative mode is based on the fact that it is necessary to complete various tasks and destroy Zeds - artificially grown creatures in the depths of biological laboratories. Their DNA was taken from a variety of animals, including pigs and horses. The possibility of free online play allows you, together with your partners, to shoot crowds of not the most intelligent creatures, exploring bright locations and completing various challenges.

A single player campaign is available, consisting of a variety of missions and challenges. Multiplayer includes a leaderboard that collects both personal statistics and global achievements of all players. In Zedfest you can choose from 5 character classes. Heroes have different attributes and fight with individual weapons. Depending on the choice of the protagonist, the style of passage and battle tactics completely changes. The arsenal of weapons includes about 30 guns, not counting various equipment and grenades. Missions consist of protecting Lennart, destroying the Snus virus, hunting Zeds and fighting in classic horde mode. Enemies can have their limbs shot off. For killing opponents, victory points are awarded, which can be used to upgrade your heroes.
